crow reflection

 i thought this picture of a crow was a pretty good at the time. now, i think it's magic.

i took it on cannon beach in central oregon. i like to go in late fall or winter when the the crowds are gone and the storms and winter light make mirrors out of sand. i wander the beach and attempt to grasp the amount of water between me and japan. for the record, time and date says it's 7696 kilometers or 4782 miles or 4156 nautical miles.

cannon beach doesn't really have shells or much to pick up. instead driftwood piles and open space decorate the perfect place for long walks, coffee and afternoon naps.

 if you go, i encourage you to stay in a place with a view and a fireplace.
